Geneva County is located in southeastern Alabama near the Choctawhatchee River. Just a few miles from several metropolitan areas (such as Dothan, Alabama and Panama City, Florida) Geneva County's easy access to these cities provides the community with many opportunities while maintaining an endearing small-town atmosphere.
Geneva County is home to fun events such as the the Geneva Festival on the Rivers and the Slocomb Tomato Festival. The area also offers some of the best farm land, hunting and fishing in the country. Agriculture remains a vital component of the Geneva County economy. Corn, hay, peanuts, soybeans, and cotton, are widely produced in Geneva today.
