Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and Nursing HomeConstructed by Bullard Engineers, Inc. and opened its doors on March 1, 1967 as a 46 bed skilled nursing facility for the citizen's of Geneva County.
As with the hospital, the Nursing Home has seen sustained growth over the years with a current bed complement of 96.
Since 1967, Wiregrass Nursing home has established a tradition of providing quality long term care. Our skilled staff assist our residents achieve the highest level of health and independence.
Our residents, sponsors, and staff enjoy our "home away from home" attitude. A vast array of activities, plants, art, pets including: our Parrot Jasmine, Fish Tanks, Several bird Aviariums, Baby and dog: Sara, along with the sounds of birds singing are only but a few of the approaches to proving a home-like atmosphere within the "EDEN alternative philosophy".
In July 2008, we changed our name from "Wiregrass Nursing Home" to Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home
With the addition of new services provided to our residents within the Nursing home and within our community.
