Our History

Wiregrass Nursing Home was constructed by Bullard Engineers, Inc. On March 1, 1967, Wiregrass Nursing Home opened as a 46 bed skilled nursing facility. Throughout the following years, the Nursing Home has continued to grow. In 1980, a building project added 34 more beds and the addition of the 300/400 halls to the Nursing Home. An additional 6 beds were added in 1981. In 2001, the facility was completed with an additional 10 beds.

In July 2008, Wiregrass Nursing Home became Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Home. We continue to provide quality long-term care to the residents of Geneva County and our surrounding communities.
